What began in 1982 as a family holiday home of the Wray family, after many years of renovations and improvements, became Silvia Wray’s dream, to operate there her own B&B. In 2015, it opened its doors as WL Lodge Bariloche.
The 2020 pandemic led us to redefine our path and gave rise to the experience we offer today: the lodge is no longer just a place to stay, but a complete experience designed for families to enjoy unforgettable moments in the beautiful North Patagonia.
Today, a dedicated and passionate team takes care of every detail with professionalism and care. WL Lodge is built on deeply rooted family values: integrity, respect, wellbeing, and collaboration. These values form the foundation of the project and guide every decision, ensuring a unique, authentic, and genuine experience.
Paul Wray
General Manager
Having known the area since childhood and as a licensed fishing guide in Nahuel Huapi National Park, Paul leads the project with deep local knowledge and an understanding of the best ways to enjoy the place and the time spent during each stay.
Juan
Head of Maintenance
A professional carpenter and wood artisan by vocation, Juan takes care of the lodge’s overall maintenance and the handcrafted details that enhance every corner. He is also the lodge’s official grill master, delighting guests with culinary experiences full of flavor and tradition.
Rosa
Head of Housekeeping
With over 30 years of experience in the inner workings of the house, Rosa ensures the lodge maintains that “home away from home” feeling. Her attention to detail and her homemade breakfasts, prepared with ingredients from her own garden, are an essential part of the experience.
Rosario
Management & Hospitality
With a background in hospitality and extensive experience in management, Rosario joined in 2025 to bring structure and vision to the family project. Her role is to combine the personalized service that defines the lodge with modern tools that ensure everything flows naturally. With sensitivity and a true service mindset, she ensures that the warmth of the house is complemented by impeccable organization.
